christineChristine Jarczewski began her Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and completed her degree and Postgraduate Diploma (both in performance) at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music.

An experienced chamber musician and orchestral performer, Christine has played with the Tasmanian and Sydney Symphony Orchestras, was Principal Violist with Steel City Strings — a David Pereira string ensemble, has toured with Jane Rutter in her ensemble and currently performs with VoCE — a vocal chamber music ensemble.

Christine has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, Edinburgh Festival and South Bank Festival, London. Other engagements have been in Holland, France, Germany, Japan, China and India.

She has taught for both the Sydney and Tasmanian Conservatoriums of Music, SCEGGS Darlinghurst, and was for many years, the main string teacher at Frensham school Mittagong. She currently now teaches in schools in the Southern Highlands.
